Does HAL still send excursion brochures to your home or do you have to go on line to see the prices?

only on line and only after you sign-in to your reservation can you see prices and exact offerings for your cruise.

Except for Grand Voyages/World Cruise, all HAL docs are e-docs. No longer do they provide the bound excursion book we used to get with our documents.

To have Brochures mailed to your home or wherever follow the directions below:
1) Go to HAL's Main Page
2) Click on Contact Us (top right) Will open a new window
3) at the top click on Request Brochure
4) Fill out the form for each location you want a brochure for and hit submit after each request.
That's all there is to it.
I had a nice HAL employee walk me through this just a few days ago. I got my brochures today.

You do not have to sign-in to see the excursion choices and prices.
I simply went to the HAL webpage, found the cruise & dates I wanted, clicked on Excursions and was able to view the choices from the pdf file which I could have printed out if I wanted to use that much paper.

I just tried that and they are destination brochures, not excursion.
I think it is too expensive for HAL to mail out excursion brochures.
They aren't even mailing out documents, just the E-docs.
Although some TA's are printing the docs and mailing them out to their clients, I don't think that even the TA's are printing out the pdf Excursion info for their clients, and that's just text, not pictures.

HAL should at least supply you with an excursion brochure, what about people who don't have access to the internet. People like to sit down and study things, especially given how expensive HAL's shore excursions are!
HAL are only harming themselves and turning people to alternative shore excursions. They will notice there revenue dropping.

HAL are only harming themselves and making people look at alternatives for shore excursions. They must surely be feeling their revenue dropping. Private shore operators would be loving HAL's decision.

Thank you for your answers. I never thought about people who don't have computers. How do they book their excursions when they can't even view them?

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away...
We didn't book our shore excursions until we got on board. Yes, we had a brochere to salivate over until that exciting minute when we submitted our requests, and hoped we got what we wanted.
Interesting comment about people going to independent tours because they don't have Internet access to book HAL's excursions. How, w/o the internet, might they find these tours?
By the way, over 80% of Americans have internet in their homes. Over 60% have broadband access.

Those few who do not have internet access would have to get their excursion brochures the same way they find out about the cruises they book, either through a friend or family member with internet access or more than likely a Brick and Mortar Travel Agency.
You do not have to have internet access to do these cruises. Though it sure is a lot easier, in my opinion.
