Hello to all. I am just curious. How far in advance can you make dining and shore excursion reservations online? I am new to H.A.L. so I am trying to learn the in's and out's.

As soon as you have a booking number. However, usually not all excursions will show up until you are within a few weeks of sailing.

Thanks. I tried to make dinner reservations but the system is stating that their are no available dates and times. I am getting the same message regarding the shore excursions. We are 8 months away from our sailing date.

I think you need to hold off till about 6 months out. And be aware that your credit card will be charged the day you make whatever reservations -- shorex or Pinnacle. Some cruiselines don't charge your credit card, putting the charges on your onboard account. But HAL processes the charge as soon as you hit "submit".

That's good. Less of a bill at the end of the cruise.

We are travelling in Aug and I have already booked all our shore excusions and 2 nights in the Pinnacle,I was really surprised as I thought it would be Feb before the excursions appeared but I booked them all last week Great really nice to have them all sorted early
