Any one have advise or going on the may 9, 2010 cruise. This will be our first trip to alaska, going for 13 nights. Can't wait...what do I pack, will my cell phone work and what else do I need to know??? Thanks

Hi Morsut1 - welcome to the wonderful world of excitement of planning for your first Alaskan cruise. It is wonderful and highly addicting, I must warn you! We've sailed there twice and are planning our third, HAL's new 14 day itinerary on the Amsterdam on May 31, 2010. I'd recommend you head over to the "Ports of Call" section, and click on Alaska - tons and tons of great information and lots of great folks to answer any questions and provide advice. Happy sailing!
