We are on the Asia cruise in December and, while touring, will need to have bottled water available. Does Azamara make bottled water available for us to take off ship? Do they charge for this? Or would we be able to bring a small supply on board with us when we embark in Singapore? We have private shore excursions planned in Bangkok and Viet Nam so not sure about water being available by the tour companies.

Better yet, take your own water bottles and fill them on the ship before you head out. The tap water is safe and tastes fine. Dianne

Interesting - I'm surprised you have to buy your own water, considering they consider them an upscale cruise line. On Regent, water was complimentary and was always available as you walked off the ship.

I agree with Diannon2 = go green, take your own water bottle!

We take our own bottles up to the 9th deck aft and fill them with our choice of water, lemonade, juice, iced tea or a combination. If you have a wide mouth bottle, you can also add ice. Tap water is safe but not particularly cold.

Water is not free on most cruise ships including Oceania and Azamara

We were on Regent this past summer and it was set on a table when yu walked out - this was at every port. I thought it might be the case with Azamara

Azamara is an upscale line and perhaps a bit more environmentally friendly by offering bottled water by purchase only, thereby encouraging more people to 'go green' by using their own water bottles (or reusing the purchased ones). The resulting reduction in plastic waste is a bonus for all of us.:)

Regent is a Luxury line & you pay for the free water in your cruise fare.
I am sure the fare on Azamara is not even close to the Regent prices

Thank you for the info. We have reusable BPA free water bottles we will take with us. Great idea! Saves the economy and money!!

The first bottle of Evian was included. After that, you pay for bottled water. We took our own water container with us. Our butler filled it with ice and drinking water everyday. He was the best. He also carried my laundry to/from the laundry room...what a guy!
