Hello from the Rotterdam

Just wanted to come in and say hello from the Panama Canal. We are in our 6th day on the cruise and today we made the partial passage of the Panama Canal. It has been very humid and hot and we left Colon tonight with heavy thundershowers showing us just why they call this area the RAINforest.:eek:

The Rotterdam is a wonderful ship. I believe she is more formal than others in the fleet, more on that when I return. I have pictures of HMC. I am pleased to report that the childrens waterpark is located at the far end of the beach, near the tender port. It is lovely for the kids and truly non-intrusive. Happy to report that the other activities seemed to have no impact on the beach either. It was heaven as usual!!

If/when you get a chance please tell us who is entertaining---both on stage and in the various lounges.

Localady, I am so happy you are having a wonderful cruise onboard the beautiful Rotterdam. We took that cruise last March and absolutely loved it.

The Ship is decorated to the nines and has been since the first day we got on! You will love her, other than minor toilet slowdowns there have been no problems. The food has been excellent! Will write more when I get home! Today was Costa Rica and I know now why they call it the RAIN forest!:eek:
