NCL announced today that the EPIC will have, in addition to Blue Man, Second City and Cirque, Legends In Concert (http://www.legendsinconcert.com/) and Howl at the Moon (http://www.howlatthemoon.com/) as two additional entertainment option.
Very cool...NCL is going all out on the EPIC and it promises to be fun from start to finish!

Other news that came out of today's webcast:
Confirmed that Blue Man Group (75-minute show) is at no extra charge, as well as Legends in Concert (45-minute show), Howl at the Moon (4-hour continuous), Second City (45-minute show).
Cirque Dreams 2-hour dinner theater - confirmed at $15.
Bowling - minor charge.
Later, advance online tickets will be available.
Specialty restaurant info (hopefully including pricing) will be available in about 2 weeks.
Legends in Concert will have 3 different impersonators at a time, and will change every 4 months (Elvis, Tina Turner, Tom Jones, Rod Stewart, Madonna, etc.) Singing will be with their own voice. Six 45-minute shows in the theater over 3 days. Three additional nights in the Manhattan Room restaurant, caberet style.
Howl at the Moon will be held in Headliners. Continuous 4-hour session of rock and roll dueling piano show with music from the 70's on, audience participation with singing and dancing, 4x per cruise.
The building of the ship is on schedule.

and asked if MOVIES WILL be SHOWN IN THE HUGE SCREEN. Then answer from Andy Stewart was YES. But they did not say when, so I guess next show with more info.
Very strange that our UVerse Optic connection had a big frog talking with Andy the whole show. But my ears got used to it so I could hear what was being said ignoring the croaking.
Interesting that 680 seats at Epic theatre may have advanced seating over the Net for us. BMG and Legends at Sea will share the theatre, Legends will also do dinner shows in the Manhattan restaurant, which I would want seats for but no mention of a $15 charge for that or it is free.

See my note above. Legends is free.

I also like that Simon will be the Entertainment Director. He was the Cruise Director on the Pearl Cruise I went on last year and he was great!

I saw Simon on the CNBC show they did on how cruise lines make their money. I believe the show took place on the Pearl, and he was featured. Very energetic guy!
In addition to my bulleted note above, I just re-listened to part of the web cast (it's on NCL's site). Cirque Dreams dinner show is at 5:30 and 8:30.

It's a small world....DS worked with Legends in Concert at the Imperial Palace in Vegas for awhile and then moved to Ft Lauderdale to open their Legends Theater at the Seminole Hard Rock property (now closed). Wonder if he will be working with them again at some point. We shall see.

Was on the Dawn at spring break this year when NCL test ran the Howl at the Moon shows. They were excellent, actually had 3 entertainers so that they could switch out which pair were dueling and occasionally having a solo singer. They kept the Spinnaker Lounge packed every night. The passengers were given surveys of what they thought about Howl at the Moon and it is great to see NCL listened to resounding requests to bring them on-board.

Simon in competition was the most amazing show to watch. He is marvelous! Would love to see him show it on stage. Or I may ask him to dance, even in his office. Now to get him on Dancing with the Stars!

As I have told Bob Beck, VP - Simon should go to Dancing with the Stars and bring millions to NCL cruises. He is such a great dancer, he will stick right out & even win the glasss prize. The tour of dancers after could have him giving cruise speeches to folks.
