Hi, I'm traveling on the Rhyndam for the New Year's cruise out of Tampa. I have my husband and 2 friends traveling with me. Could anyone suggest which excursions to take? Or would it be better to rent a taxi. I like to shop, but I like to see places and do things better. Please advise.

I've done this itinerary, too, and there were so many good excursions available that it was hard to choose!
If you go to the Ports of Call threads - http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=5 - you can post specific questions or just lurk to read what other cruisers have done.

Hi Mrs. Mike! I see you are a local CC friend. We just returned from the Ryndam and I posted a detailed log/review on CC at http://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=59853 (http://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=59853)

I strongly urge you to research the port boards, especially for Belize and Guatemala. We like to do and experience new things and that was certainly the case for us. Belize and Guatemala are the top two port adventures we have ever had.

Enjoy your cruise on the Ryndam!
