I want to thank all you "HAL"pers (helpers). You've been a real wealth of knowledge when it came to answering my many questions and I appreciate being able to pick your respective brains. Cruising has DEFINITELY changed in the last 20 years, as I'm sure I'll find out when I board the ship on Sunday!

My last cruise was on Sovereign of the Seas and I cannot even remember the year. I think it had been in operation a year or so. I also am thankful for all I will be learning in the next year or so before my voyage.

The Sovereign of the Seas was a nice ship, we went on it when it was new, probably around 1988. Cruise ships have gotten a lot larger since then.
