We'll be taking our first Azamara cruise in February and while we know somewhat what to expect, I do hove some questions. How is the closet/shelf space in the cabins (we're in a 2A)? How about luggage storage - will the suitcases fit under the bed or is there some other out of the way place to put them so we won't be tripping over them for 12 days?
I've seen a lot of discussion of menus on this board - what are some of your favorite dishes in the MDR? I've seen some posts of Aqualina and Prime C menus that were very clear and readable, but nothing from the MDR that I was able to read.
We are very much looking forward to this cruise, we have only cruised Celebrity and HAL before, the small ship experience seems wonderful to us.

We stored one bag under the bed. The larger one we had our butler store. It reappeared the last afternoon. Our butler was fantastic...he even had a broken wheel fixed for us. Cabin space is okay. It had enough space to store clothes..closets are small, but adequate. The bathroom in cat 1A - 2A is very tight. No lay down space. I travel with a hangup toiletry bag. I also bring a magnetic hook which attaches to the walls. The real challenge was the shower. I managed to shower sideways. After awhile it became a joke. My husband who is bigger wore the shower.

You can find a detailed description of a standard balconied cabin on an R ship (Oceania and Azamara) in our previous report with actual measurements http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=16812 Posting #1 in the middle...
P.S. By the way, how is Satchie .. meow!

Those posted menus are out of date. The new menus offer very nice choices. Food is good in all restaurants. There were somethings that were exceptional. Steak and fish in Prime C and Aquilina are excellent. Also, you can order off either menu in either restaurant. They share the kitchen. I was very disappointed with coffee....very weak. I switched to tea. Also, breakfast in the main dining room wasn't as good as the buffet. Buffet had better selections. The food is better than most cruise lines....and they are good at listening to special requests. You will enjoy too much food.
