Southern Caribbean - MCD Night?

Can anyone returning from a recent Westerdam southern Caribbean sailing please advise if and when (which night) the Master Chef's Dinner is offered? Also, are the Master Chef's Dinners really so terrible as to warrant trying to get a Pinnacle Grill reservation for that night? We've only been on two HAL cruises so far (Zaandam & Zuiderdam) and I don't really remember attending a dinner anything like what I've seen the Master Chef's Dinners described as being. Guess they weren't offered on our cruises or we just somehow missed them, and I'm thinking that I might want to try missing the one on the 01/03/10 Westerdam sailing. Any suggestions?

On our B2B on the Westerdam the MCD were the last night of the cruise. We went to the Pinnacle the first week. The second week our kids were with us, so we went to the MDR and actually enjoyed the heck out of ourselves!!!

I guess I am in the minority of CC members who thinks the Master Chef's Dinner is fun!!! We received Paper Chef's Hats and put them on and the party atmosphere was on.

I thought it was great and am looking forward to it for 2 nights of my B2B in February.
