I love it and hope it is still there! I would hate to have to fish for it?!?!

I don't expect to find any on the O'dam in January. Maybe on the Prinsendam on a longer cruise, though...
In the meantime, this will have to do -

Dover sole was on the menu on Dutch Night (with hats) on the Westerdam repositioning cruise from Barcelona to FLL 12 Nov - 29 Nov, 2004.
My wife said it was delicious. The only change she noticed is that it came deboned; previously the waiter deboned it at the table.
The chocolate tulip was on the same menu. Another night we had a chocolate piano (it was music to our taste buds).

Dover Sole was on the Prinsendam the night we celebrated "Dutch Night".
It was not what I expected as I am used to wonderful Flounders from N.Z. here and sole is supposed to be related to it.
I had been deboned, perhaps that is why it was so different though I didn't think the flavour was brilliant.

Toad,
We were on the Prinsendam in October 2004 for the Black Sea cruise so it is not so many weeks ago. A wonderful cruise with a great itinerary and excellent food.

Just got back from the 28 Day Prinsendam Amazon Cruise and we had the Dover Sole-----not only that, but the Chef bought a lot of different fishes in Manus Brizil and we tried a different fish we had never hear of every night. I will write a review in a couple of days about the HALs Maiden Voyage up the Amazon. All I will say--is that is was great. Penny

No Dover Sole on the Westerdam 12/12-12/19. No Bami Goreng either, but did have Basi Goreng. I prefer the noodle dish. No chocolate tulip and no Dutch hats. They did have the pea soup and the pot roast, both of which DH pronounced as delicious.
