February 27th on the Maasdam.... anyone?

We just booked for February 27th on the Maasdam. I have been catching up on some of the posts so i know ... cheric... has been wondering if anyone from here was also sailing on the 27th. Looks like you won't have the ship all to yourselves, sorry :) .... we are a little worried because there seem to have been some complaints about the air conditioning, but i am sure the problems will be corrected by the time we sail -- i hope -- .... anyway, just wanted say hello

Hi, I have had a roll call for my trip 6-17 Feb and no one is going then. I know there is at least one other couple on your trip so try the roll call board. Maasdam in going in for a wet dock in Jan for 4 days so maybe the ship will be fixed then to, it would be nice.

I will be in Maasdam from Jan 6th to 16th. I will write a report when i am back from the caribbean.

I also hear sth wrong with air-conditioning in Maasdam. Hope it is got fixed in Jan.

BTW, do you happen to know what the dance style in Maasdam. My hubby and i like the social dance like waltz, swing, chacha, salsa and samba. We would like to have some sweet dance music instead of disco.

It has been 2 long years since we have cruised, but i know there are different options for music and dancing... i think disco music or modern dance/rap type music is not the norm... maybe late night in the crows nest. The best chance for some of what you looking for is in some of the lounges before dinner.
