I have a last minute question concerning the scenic railway trip in St Kitts. Have any of you tried this excursion? We're leaving Wednesday on the Maasdam out of Norfolk. While glancing through the shore trips this morning, I noticed this excursion. Last time we were in St Kitts I don't think this was available. Any information will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

We took that excursion, and I think it's great. You circle the entire island and really get a glimpse into life there. The train goes through small communities, and the school kids come out to greet you. The train was out of service a period of time while they beefed up the tracks, so that's probably why you didn't see it earlier.

I just have one thing to say - if it starts raining, don't go.

We loved this excursion. The views are beautiful. As for the rain, we did go through 2 rainstorms, but they were brief, and you can go downstairs where there are chairs/tables and it is enclosed. We thought the excursion from start to finish was great.
