I am looking at my family taking one of these cruise and resort packages from FL to Nassau and its a 2 night cruise and a 3 night resort stay at comfort suites in nassau. If anyone has done this, please let me know of any tips, suggestions, is it a fun trip, etc. We are thinking about going for fourth of july weekend. This Celebration cruise is it a decent cuise? And this comfort suites they say you can use all amenties at the atlantis resort and its in walking distance, is this true. And what time does the ship depart from Fl. and then what time would you arrive back in Fl when trip is done? Just curious, trying to fiqure out who this works with the number of nights with cruise then the resort stay. I have let the cruise line a call to call me back with information and prices but they havent called me back yet. So any helpful suggestions would be wonderful. I would definetely want a room with at least a window, any suggestions about the cabins? Also once i get a price from the cruise line is there any hidden fees that they dont tell me about so i wouldnt be surprised. Thanks so much for anyones help. Thanks

It looks like this ship is moving from Fort Lauderdale to Palm Beach and will be cruising to Freeport instead of Nassau so this may not be an option for you.

As for the Comfort Suites, it is next to Atlantis, near the beach towers which is a long walk to the waterpark, casino and "the dig" (but that said Atlantis is huge and some of the older buildings are a long walk to anything else!) As for extra fees there are energy, maid and some other fees that aren't included and will be added to your hotel bill. If you go to the hotel's website they list these out in the description of the property. Honestly the last time I priced it out Atlantis was offering similar rates in their older buildings so don't rule out staying at Atlantis itself.
