View Full Version : Statendam leaving San Diego

If you can access that San Deigo Web cam that looks out on the dock you can see the Statendam pulling away on its Christmas Cruise to Hawaii.
Bon Voyage and may calm seas be with the ship throughout the voyage.

Can't see which one it is--it is too dark out! (The 21st of December--even in San Diego

I looked it at this morning and it was a small ship, perhaps a Crystal ship, but I couldnt' find the name.

It can be difficult finding the name of any ship even when you pull the camera up close.

I watched the San Diego web cam off and on during today and there were 3 ships in port today-it looked like a Princess or NCL ship that was to the far left, with a small ship between that one and the Statendam. Sure wish I was on one of them, especially the Statendam! The small ship was still there as of a few minutes ago and the Statendam was headed out. The largest ship was first out.

Just got off the Statendam yesterday. Three ships were in port - Statendam, Silver Cloud and Monarch of the Seas. We had to share porters, each ship got 1/3 so for the first time, I had to stand in line to get a porter. Happy Sailing!

The one in the middle was Silver Shadow from which we were disembarking in San Diego. It was great to see Statendam next to us as we leave for Hawaii on it February 19. Anxious to hear the (at least two) differing views on the last trip.

Oops - wrong Silver Seas ship. I could have sworn the ship said Silver Cloud but my memory is going, going, almost gone.:D :D
