costa maya beach excursions- maya chan?

has anyone gone to the maya chan beach resort in costa maya, mexico? they have a package that includes a palapa, food and drink, and apparently the taxi ride there.

the cost seems very high thru the ship and I would definitely be interested in alternatives.

We just stayed there on january 12th and it was the highlight of our trip by far. The transporation, staff, bar, palaps (each with a day bed) was incredible. The value can not be beat. Book with confidence if you are lucky enough to get it. Mark (the owner) stated he was turning people away every day based on his low capacity (30 people).
