I might be jumping the gun here, but I am a rookie!

When should I be booking the shore excursions if I am doing them with the ship? Do they book up fast?

Also, how about the pinnacle? (sp?) We want to spend at least two dinners there... if I look on the details on the ship it is booking up, and the "general" dinner already has a wait list.

To put your mind at ease, I would suggest you book your dinner reservations and shore excursions as soon as you have made up your mind about them.

I would expect you can always go back in and change them if space is still available when/if you want to make changes later.

Hope you have a great cruise. Happy Holidays, DFD

As soon as they open up online, book your shore excursions on the HAL website. Some of them do fill up quickly, so it's best to get it done and not be disappointed later.

You can call ship's services at HAL and pre-reserve dining times for the Pinnacle.

Hi! I hope I can help you with some info. With book extra items with HAL, it just depends on what you want to add. For example, Pinnacle on the first night is $10 pp (a great deal) and the remaining nights $20 pp. The resturant was booked before we left port the first night (I booked mine by phone a month earlier).
On Half Moon Cay, I suggest to see if any canabnas are remaining (a great spluge). If not, go online and book a clamshell (they go fast and make sure you arrive early to stake a great stop).
As for your remaing ports, check the stops on "Port of Call", you can find tours that are a greater value in both money and enjoyment than the cruise trips.
Also, if you do book online or by phone, you can do this until ten days prior to sailing !!
I hope this helps :) !!

HAL's on-line shore excursions for the Caribbean is usually available 60 days before you sail. So if you cruise on May 28, then the excursions should start to show on line around March 30.
