HAL has several varieties of sushi available at the LIDO lunch buffet.
You will find it at the wok station.

Of the 3 categories of HAL ships I have sailed, I have only found sushi on the Vista classes. They have a Lido Oriental food station which includes several varieties of sushi.

On R class it'll be near some of the various cheeses, etc. I've had it on non-Vistas.

There is sushi on all HAL ships. The Vista class just has a larger area for it.

Yep, was going to say the same thing. During embarkation the Lido Sushi place actually had some thin slivers of raw fish, but for the rest of the cruise it was either all vegitable rolls or cooked fish. Still not bad, I had some almost every day for lunch.

It has been on all the HAL ships as mentioned and I generally eat it every couple of days - while it is not like sitting at a sushi chef's counter, it is just fine to me. The only issue is that often one has to wait for them to put more on the available tray as they don't put an abundance out at any one time - this becomes a bit frustrating.

Didn't I read somewhere that the Tamarind serves it for lunch?

Yes, an option with lunch and with dinner. On the dinner menu you can have sushi and sashimi as either an appitizer or entree. It is REAL sushi and sashimi in the Tamarind, and quite good. But try to go early in the cruise as they do run out of some of the fresh fish varieties.
The Sushi in the lido is quite good, if not an extensive variety. I found myself enjoying some each afternoon on our cruise in October on the Eurodam.

I love sushi, but in the Lido it's nothing special. However, at Tamarind, it was quite good.
