Price differences

Hi everyone! I booked my first HAL cruise Wednesday, and got an email today from an online agency offering a veranda for $112 less. Will HAL do anything to match it? I've made final payment. Thanks for any help.

Are you sure its for the exact same cabin and/or guarantee? Very often the emails are promotions and when you go to book its not for the same level.

No---it's not for the exact same cabin. I booked cat VH veranda guarantee & the other agency simply stated verandas.

FYI, a VH is the lowest veranda category on the ship.

If you booked direct with HAL you might be able to get it transferred to the agency with the lower price. However, I would be sure I knew all of the "fine print" at the agency before I did this. For just $112, I'm not sure it's worth the risk of something getting fouled up.

I am not for sure, but I think if you have made your final deposit, it might not be possible to transfer directly; you might have to cancel and rebook to get the lower price.

I booked a Grand voyage while onboard.....they told me I could transfer it to an agency at any Vime....even though I already made the full deposit.

I called HAL.......and because it was one day after my final payment---they said they couldn't do anything. I got my cabin assignment---and it was a VC category. What's the difference between that & VH?? Thanks for everyones help!
