Thanks for sharing!!! Really enjoyed your pictures:) . I took almost the exact same shot of the funnels at night on the Oosterdam.

Kris, Your pictures are really great. I have several questions for you. First how different was Steve's cabin from yours. As you know we will be in a suite near yours on the Westerdam but when we sail on the Oosterdam this coming October we will be in cabin 5187 and was interested in how much smaller the cabin is? I believe for the for the Westerdam we are in cabin 7051.
My second question is what did you think of the Ecco Tour on Half Moon Cay? We were really thinking of signing up for this since we don't normally like to lay around the beach that much.
Thanks so much for you great detailed review and pictures you have done a wonderful job.:)

Windy -
Great photos! I loved them - I wish I knew how to upload mine so quickly, I am still sorting and labeling them from our November cruise ... :(
Thank you so much for sharing - it has been very enjoyable and I look forward to hearing the next version in the saga... what a great cruise - I wish we had been able to to go....
Perhaps next time? :)

5187 was slightly smaller, but the verandah more than made up for it. The bed is starboard to port instead of bow to aft. The entrance door is directly opposite the dressing area and washroom. I did not notice where the closets were and I think the sofa bed is only for 1, unlike the side suites where the sofa bed sleeps two.
The Eco-Lagoon cruise was wonderful. We saw numerous fish, the beginnings of a coral reef, a Sea Star. Our guide was knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information. The nice part was - the boat held only about 15 passengers. They also provided everyone with a cold bottle of water or a soda on the trip back. We all felt it was worth the price. The Jet skiers also used the same lagoon, as did the kayakers. Transport from the entrance of Half Moon Cay to the lagoon was provided. We met in the Vista Lounge and each got a numbered sticker and then we were escorted to the tenders. The whole shore excursion was well planned.

Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures and review (can't wait to read the rest!). We're about 4 weeks away from our Westerdam cruise so was great to see what's coming. We don't have a suite but do have our first balcony cabin so am really looking forward to trying it out. We've also booked the eco tour on HMC and sounds like a good choice for us. Thanks again.
