Requesting info. re: room 8006 NOT 8066(typo). Again wondering about verandah size, view, noise, privacy, vibration and movement at the back of the boat. We really like the idea but are first time cruisers and have heard that it might not be the place to be from cruisers on other lines. We have the choice of being in a concierge stateroom on the 7th level instead and just wondering about what would be the best.
thanx

A little confusing. 8006 is at the front of the ship and not that far front at that. 8066 is at the rear. Can you clarify?

Plus 8006 would be better ( IMHO) than the other as it is very close to elevator.. so that is nice.. and 8th floor would be considered penthouse so you would have butler service, 7th would not....

guess what. It is the one at the back. NO butler but concierge in between the owner's suites. sorry for the confusion but i am new to this as well as to cruising.

I think you did very well for yourself. 8066 is very well located between the two Owners suites. It's verandah is deeper than the other cabins in its class. It is very quiet here and the views from the back of the ship can be lovely.
Count yourself lucky. I understand these cabins sell out quickly.

Thanx for the info. on the room. We'll be taking the Venice to Barcelona cruise. Any info. would be welcomed re: excursions. We're not much for big group activities, but prefer independent or smaller group excursions. We are sailors and were wondering about any daysail or water sport excursions that we might look into. If anyone has any ideas or links please let us know.
