Need Help on Westerdam Aft Cabin deck 4

We are currently booked in a category VA on deck 4 with an aft verdanda. I can see some pics of 5th, 6th and other veranda's but not deck 4. Does anyone know if the veranda's on deck 4 have loungers or just plain ole' chairs? Also, is this cabin noisier than if we just move to deck 7 with a regular balcony? Please help. Thanks!

We were on her twin, the Zuiderdam, in Cat A cabin 5181 (virtually identical to those on deck 4), and found the veranda to be huge in comparison to the side cabins. Here are some photos from November...

I believe I did see loungers out there, but I won't swear to it. Someone posted a side view of the stern, and it looked like decks 4-8 were staggered evenly, looking like all the verandas were equally deep. I think my veranda on deck 6 was deeper than 5, so 4 may be slightly shallower, but still have enough room for loungers. We even took 2 chairs from our cabin to the veranda next door and there was lots of room.

I'd stick with the wake cabin... no dirt, no noise, no vibration... just an incomperable view all the time!

We were on the Oosterdam on Deck 4 aft. The balconies were large, about 10 x10 ft. There was a chaise lounge, chair with ottoman, and 2 other smaller wicker chairs and a small table on the balcony. Cabins very nice too. On Deck 5 the balconies are even larger, but we sure liked Deck 4. They did have a little dirt or soot a couple times, but they were also hosed down and thoroughly cleaned couple times.

We loved 5181 except for the closets. They are in the doorway and if you open up one door you can't get to the others or the bathroom. The sitting area, though, was great and the balcony was wonderful
