We will be on 17 day HAL cruise, stopping in Cannes and Monte Carlo on different days and I want to take tours that do not overlap. Any suggestions for tours in each and any local tour companies in each?

We're on part one of that voyage with you, and we're looking pretty hard at taking the train/bus to St. Paul De Vence from Cannes, or to Nice or Antibes. There's tons of info on doing any/all of those from the port on the boards you found.
I'm so jealous of the 17-day voyage. We're leaving three kids behind with grandparents, and just wouldn't feel right about leaving for so long, even though the parents would love it. Last time we left them, I got a series of pictures of my children eating whipped cream out of a can, and then skinny-dipping in the pool to clean up the mess. It's hard for me to believe these people are my parents. Totally unrecognizable as grandparents!!
