We were on the Westerdam 11/15/09 for two weeks. Best crew ever. Can anyone tell me if Joel Mason is still performing and for how much longer? Also, we had two wonderful Conceierge folks Gelo and unfortunatley I can't remember the name of the young lady. Anyone know if they are still aboard. Thanks.

I don't know how long Joel is still on board, but he was still there last week on our 1/24 Westerdam cruise.

Abby, the concierge in the Neptune Lounge, was on board for our January 10 cruise. She still had a while to go.

Joel Mason does a marvelous show, he is an entertainment highlight when onboard. He has a website, eltonjoel.com, but it appears not to have been updated with where he will be apearing this year.

I believe the woman's name was Celeste.
You should ask on the roll calls of recent cruises about Joel. Last I heard he was still on the Westerdam.

The NL concierges on Westerdam's New Year's cruise were Diane and Angelo and they were outstanding! be advised that the NL is staffed by personnel from the Front Office and they rotate in an out

I sailed Nov. 1 - two weeks before the OP - and I believe Gelo was in the NL at that time with Celeste.

Just got off the Westerdam 12 hours ago and indeed Jazzy is still going strong.

Jazzy is DJ on Westerdam and we had Celeste as concierge in Neptune Lounge mid November. Jazzy went home for a brief vacation but he has returned.

CD scheduled for end of March is Franklin Keith Cox. Of course, subject to change.

Steve you are so right on the Maitre' De and his attitude/facial expression, but out of uniform he was a sweetheart and totally different attitude than when he was on duty, my God, even his smile lit his face up. It was like a light switch...
OK Joel Mason was onboard during our cruise 7-21 February as was Jazzy. Other Neptune Lounge personnel were Nancy, Jennifer, Kathleen and Kathryn, for the ladies and the male personnel I cannot tell you their names, but there were 3.

Shane Einspahr better known on the dam ships as Shane Michaels. Keith Cox is a longtime (former) Princess cruise director who also worked for NCL. Very polished CD, had him on Westerdam for the New Years cruise. He had just joined HAL to fill in and went home after that cruise
