I just got a fax from my TA with the maiden voyage itinerary listed - I'm thinking it may be the same for the first few voyages. It's kind of strange to me - not sure I'm liking it yet...

Date - Port - Arrive - Depart
2/22/06 - New York - 4:45 pm
2/23/06 - At Sea
2/24/06 - At Sea
2/25/06 - Grand Turk - 7:00 am - 2:00 pm
2/26/06 - Tortola - 12:00 pm - 11:59 pm
2/27/06 - Philipsburg - 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
2/28/06 - St. Thomas - 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
3/01/06 - San Juan - 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
3/02/06 - At Sea
3/03/06 - At Sea
3/04/06 - New York - 8:00 am

There are a couple of short days... I would have liked to see a full day at Turks and Caicos... a short stay in San Juan and a whole 12 hours in Roadtown... hmm - it's interesting, to say the least.

Laura, you are right this is a very strange itinerary:confused: Other than St Thomas I have not been to any of these ports so it will all be interesting. Departure time is strange 4:45:confused: With all the short days it makes it hard to do any excursions.

Grand Turk and San Juan are too short days, but the others seem o.k. Leaving Tortola at Midnight might be longer than it deserves, isn't it?

A 4:45 sail from NYC is normal departure time there. Should be pretty (albeit cold) out on deck as the ship sails down the Hudson.

I'd definitely say that is longer than it deserves. Unless it is a nice day and you are going to the beach, snorkelling or over to Virgin Gorda, I would think staying on board would be a good option. Not a lot to do there
