Magic -- Deck 1 OK?

Hi -- about to book on Magic for April. We are a family of 5, and are going to book two rooms ... no connecting rooms left, but there are two that are next to each other ... they are category 9 (outside stateroom), but on Deck 1. Deck 1 looks lonely (desolate? scary?) on the deck plans ... you can call me crazy :) Just looking for any insider info to seek comfort in booking for these rooms on Deck 1. Please advise!!

Thanks for the leads on those sites ... they helped! We decided against Deck 1, and are now booked on Magic, Deck 6, April 16 departure! Yay!

By the way, we are in massachusetts ... not too far from you!

We stayed on Deck 6 and loved it. We had a midhsip verandah and were close to everything. You will be pleased with the deck location and probably more so than 1.

Give you a shout from NH. Do you love the 40 degree weather????? Its great!
