I'm sure this has been a thread hundreds of times but let's make it 101. I just love pina coladas and only have them on vacation. Is there a drink I have to try? I'd love to hear about everyone's favorite.

We don't like those fuzzy drinks.

Just a good Grey Goose on the Rocks works for us.

Crown Royal Manhattan, rocks, light on the vermouth, no garnish. And fou-fou drink would be a coral drop. Scott.

I like to try different things on the cruise too. I like the mojito, margaritas and they have the best bloody marys, and sometimes just ask them to surprise you!I try to sample the drink of the day also. I rarely drink at home but the cruise drinks are so good! :D

Holland America has the most incredible grapefruit cosmopolitan I have ever tasted! They muddle ruby red grapefruit and limes, add sour mix, vodka...heaven :) !

If you like pina colada then a Miami Vice is a must try. Is a pina colada and a strawberry daquiri, half/half.

When at Sea I either order a Whiskey Sour (a favorite of mine) or a White Russian.

HAL makes the best Mojitos of any cruiseline we have ever been on if that's your cup of tea. There are 2 drinks on HAL that we consider don't miss and have never seen on other lines:

Cucumber Smash (sounds weird, tastes great)
South Seas Aviation

Have fun on your cruise!

Has anyone tried the Yellow Tulip shown on page 10 of the new Mariner magazine?
It looks and sounds delicious.

I'd read so many good things about the Lemon Drop---right here on Cruise Critic---that I had to try one.
Oh, they are good!

I'm not much for fou-fou drinks either, but if the circs are right...a Planter's Punch for me.
Cheers

I just read about (and saw the picture) the Yellow Tulip today and made a mental note to self to try it in April. Sounds SO yummy. Has anyone tried it?

Ok...between this thread and the favorite dishes one, I have realized that I need to pack lots of elastic waist clothing and sensible shoes! So much for looking stylish!!!

we were in an Irish pub last night with all the fiddlers. Such great music. Brings tears to your eyes. Guiness for my fella, and I won't tell you what I had. It's a secret. ;)

I grew up near the old murder site. I think a nursing home or the like was built there.

I'm a lightweight but I usually have two or three Suncicles a day as we float through the Caribbean.

Ok here we go, we usually do straight up drinking such as Grey Goose or Jack on the rocks but if we are in a cruising mood, it could be Harvey Wallbanger, Apple Martini's (my way) and oh those ever so good Espresso Martini's.
