When making our reservations for the Zuiderdam, they ask if we prefer the upper or lower dining room. Is there an advantage to one or the other? We're a family of 4, two adults and two (well behaved) teen girls. We'd like a table for 4 if that makes a difference.

The dining times are staggered. They are:
5:45pm early upper
6:15pm early lower
8:00pm main upper
8:30pm main lower
My friend had breakfast in the lower dining room and said that the tables were not as crowded as where we sat in the upper dining room for dinner. I would pick the time you prefer rather than the upper or lower.
