Waiting List?

I want to sail on the Veendam on November 26th, 2005 sailing but no balcony cabins are available right now. I called HAL and asked about a waiting list and they said they could not tell me if they currently have people waitlisted for a balcony. I actually want a S cabin. Does anyone know a way to find out this information. Thanks in advance.

I would check with a few TAs, they may have a cabin available yet. Also on line TAs.

I would stick with calling Holland,ask for a PCC and have them check.If none are available.Ask them to waitlist you.We did this in Oct waitlisted a SS and we ended up with a S Suite upgrade. Good Luck anyway I know that sailing and the 2 prior are selling out.We are on the Oct26th sailing. TOM

It's amazing that HAL doesn't offer this most popular 14 day Veendam cruise more than 3 times a year. The suites/verandahs book so quickly. Just keep checking, especially at the time final payment is due.

What is a PCC?

What did you waitlist for and did they give you a free upgrade? What kind of price did they give you? Was it similar to the prices that they were originally selling for? Thanks

PCC,Is a Personel Cruise Consultant thru Holland.We had a CatA guarentee,and waitlisted a SS.She got us a S Suite for the price of the CatA.But we booked direct with Holland and it worked out very good.If you are using a ta I would just watch Holland website daily there will be cancellations the closer you get to final payment.Try to get waitlisted.The S Suites are nice. We booked the last suite for the Veendam, Nov 26th cruise back in September when it suddenly opened up.

And we weren't on a waiting list. I just saw happened to be cruising the boards when I noticed that cabin 007 opened up. So there obviously wasn't a waiting list.

Well I am now waitlisted with an agency that Kirk Lanterman's wife owns. Hopefully an S cat open up.
