This past spring my dw and myself sailed on the Zuiderdam for 7 days----loved it. We had hoped to invite our daughter--her boyfriend and our grand daughter on our next cruise. They may not be as exited as us about sailing on a cruise ship.
We would still like to vacation together in the spring of '06 in a warm, beach environment----with all you can eat food, good service ans pleasant surroundings----all for one price.
Does anyone know of an all inclusive resort that feeds you like a HAL ship,,,,has some fun things to do,,,stuff for a 6-7 year old to do......and is as affordable as a cruise?

Thanks in advance for any good ideas, destinations, or for sharing your experience, strength and hope.

I have never been on a cruise, however have been on many all inclusive resorts. My sister and I took my parents away Nov 2003 my fav trip. We went to the Dominical Rep. Punta Cana, Super Breezes Resort. (their first trip since I was born 27 years!!! ) Anyway, we had a blast. There were 4 restrants (I think), bars, night club, buffet, day activities, they also had fun games in the pool that would be suitable for children. Wall climbing thing, plus a kids club (since we didnt have children with us I don't know much about them, but seemed fun!)

Drinks were included as well. One good thing was this resort did not water down their drinks and they had EVERYTHING, you like Grand Marnier? Its there for free, wine? its there too, Beer... lots of it!

They also had night time entertainment at the outdoor theater.

The fees were very reasonable. We left from Vancouver and it cost $1500CDN-each.. hotel, air, all inclusive.

Check internet on All-inclusive. Several come up go for at least 4 stars. I was a single individual so I got ignored and did not like it. But Most will have at least two restaunts and a buffet of some sort. All-inclusive on land means drinks too.
