And a happy new year to you as well ... along with all the great folks here on the CC HAL board. I always try to be thankful every day of the year; but this year I'm especially thankful for what I have in light of the millions in Southeast Asia who have lost everything.
May we all realize how truly blessed we are to have our lives, a reasonable level of health, and the resources to engage in the gracious method of travel that is called cruising.
May 2005 bring each of you abundant blessings.

Pat,
I presume you will be boarding the Amsterdam when she arrives in Valpariso. My sister and brother in law are on her at the moment. We are wondering how they are enjoying the cruise as we have only had one email.
Have a wonderful cruise and please tell us all about it on your return.
Happy 2005 everyone. We are now in the New Year here and it is as usual a beautiful summers day.

Bobpat- Have a wonderful trip!
We did Rio to Valpariso last year, I did post a review here on CC under "Amsterdam" sailings. We were off the ship and out of Chilean customs by 8:30am easily. Just make sure you bring no fruit off the ship as the Chileans are serious about that. It's truly the trip of a lifetime!
