I read in the newspaper yesterday that Puerto Rico is experiencing an outbreak of dengue fever, also known as breakbone fever. Fortunately the hemorrhagic cases, which are more severe, have been few in number. But, if you're going to have a port of call in Puerto Rico, it would be wise to have plenty of mosquito protection on hand. And use it.
