Shore Excursions closed?

Anyone had this problem? Just went online to book some excursions for our Feb. 12 Ziuderdam cruise and got a message that basically said excursions can no longer be booked online for this cruise. It clearly says in FAQ that excursions can be booked 60days to 10days before the cruise. Why would excursion booking stop 40 days out from a cruise? Any info would be helpful. Otherwise I will call Ships Services on Monday. Thanks. Marilyn

Sounds like a glitch in HAL's system....Usually, you are able to book up until 10 days before. I would check back to see if the problem is resolved. If not, you can call the shore excursions at 888-425-9376 on Monday morning. Hope this helps!:cool:

Locallady, thanks. Don't know what kind of glitch they were experiencing but it seems fine now. Scared me for a minute! Thanks for the number as I have a few questions about the excursions and I will use it. Marilyn

This same thing happened to me this evening as I was trying to book another excursion for my cruise in March. When the online form didn't allow me to book anything, I just reloaded the whole site and tried again, being successful the second time around.
