Veendam Thalassoy Pool ??

Sorry about the above spelling.... does Veendam have one like on the Westerdam? Meaning is it deep enough to stand up in and swim around? Or is it just like a big hot tub where you just sit in it on a bench type seat?

Thanks for your replys. Now I'm bummed. I am thinking of sailing to Burmuda this summer and trying to figure out which ship would have a warm pool to do my stretching in. Does the Veendam happen to heat it's Lido pool on it's Bermuda runs? I wonder if anyone here knows if Celebrity Summit heats their atrium pool? I think I know that RCCL Explorer does not heat it's solarium pool. NCL is off my radar.

Can't help you on the heated pool on the Veendam Bermuda since this is the first year that HAL is doing the Bermuda cruises.

The pool on the Veendam would be heated - to a degree. Most ship pools are, but not nearly as hot as a hydro pool.

Of course, if it's nice out, the sun will heat it for you. You might actually not want to discount the Explorer of the Seas - we just returned from the Mariner of the Seas, and found that the Solarium pool was consistently warmer than the main pools further aft, simply because it was more sheltered. Really nice area, and always quiet.
