Does HAL allow you to stow empty luggage/bags during the cruise after you have unpacked?
Thanks!

Many, if not most passengers store their empty luggage under the bed.

If that doesn't work for you, ask the steward to stow the bags.

Never had a problem fitting them under the bed!

Welcome to Cruise Critic. Normally you can store 4 normal size bags under the bed but it never hurts to ask if they can store them. Usually on long cruise where people have many bags they will do that.

Welcome to Cruise Critic.

We have always been able to stow 4 pieces of luggage under the bed.

But if you don't want to do that, you can ask your cabin stewards to store your luggage for you. It will be brought back to your cabin on the last full day of the cruise.

I once had a hard-sided suitcase that was too deep to fit under the bed when closed, and too awkward to be slid under while open. I asked the steward to store it, which he did. After a time I went looking for him, and found him in the steward closet---where I also spotted my suitcase.
If too many people were to ask to have their luggage stored, I expect it would get awfully crowded in that closet.
