Anyone know why I can't get the clock to work?

I followed the instructions on the clock webpage and copied the information into my signature on the User CP page. However, all it's showing is lines of gobbledygook! Anyone know why?

take out the HAL"> replace it with

dont forget to save it whenyou are done.

I ahve no idea of what to do to it! I think it may be easier to calculate my duty on my cruise purchases ;)
