We will be in Ajaccio, Corsica for one day on Nov 30, 2010. Does anyone have any information on day tours operated out of that port?

Regarding tours, you should take a look at the offerings of the cruise line. Ajaccio is not a huge city and you should not depend on finding a local tour company unless you can pre-arrange something on the internet. We really like Ajaccio because it is a small very walkable town and it has a decent beach right in the town. The island is a very large place and you really cant leave town without a tour or rental car.
