We are going to be enjoying the "suite life " for the first time on our next cruise. The famous Neptune Lounge will be part of the adventure....my question.. Taking food treats or fun coffees back to your cabin ,do many do this?... Next question ... we are in a corner aft suite,it will be a bit of a trek ,dare I ask are there trays?:D Any helpful suggestions welcomed.

Your cabin ice bucket will be on a tray. Bring that with you.

Most people DO take the food/drinks back to their cabin. Enjoy!

Yes -- you can take food back to your cabin from the Neptune Lounge. We often take snacks back to our cabin.
And we have used the tray that the ice bucket sits on -- it is really helpful.
The only tray from our cabin that we could not use was on the Eurodam -- it had a hump in it. Could not put cups or glasses on it.

The one problem is- you are going to be s-o-o spoiled with your deluxe suite AND the use of the Neptune Lounge, you may never go back to any other type cabin. :D
Have a great cruise and enjoy, enjoy, en:)joy!!

I have heard that's what happens but I fear it's a little cost prohibitive for us, but at least I get to cross it off my bucket list ;).....of course we could always just cruise less:D
Thanks for your kind wishes.

We had a wake cabin on deck 6 - so it was a trek to the Neptune for us.
I brought back treats on a plate - did not think of using the tray in the cabin!
Imagine the uproar if HAL started supplying trays to suite pax after removing them from the Lido!
I find it a interesting that none of the anti-tray gang, who tend to belittle those of us whose circumstances demand trays, have come here to criticism the suite pax for wanting trays!

You're welcome! You can always hope for an 'upsell' offer to come your way in the future. That's what got us started. (Dam the luck!! ;))
On which of the wonderful HAL ships are you sailing?

There are so many comfortable seats in the Neptune lounge, I never had reason to take "treats" back to my suite. Just sit there and chat with a few others while I ate and drank what I chose in complete comfort. Frankly, I hate dragging a tray of food back to my suite - just my personal choice of course

We wear out the caepet going back and fourth to the Neptune for coffee and goodies as most suite passengers do, so have fun. What a great suggestion Ruth had, never thought of that, thanks Ruth. Though we usually try to get a cabin close to the Neptune, I can see where that would be a problem for OP in those aft cabins, long ways away from all those goodies.

I'm so jealous of all you Suite cruisers using the Neptune Lounge. Sailing solo make it's cost prohibitive for me unless I win a lotto. The last time my dearly departed and I shared a suite, there was no Neptune Lounge.

I can understand why completely. One of the most beautiful itineraries on one of the most beautiful ships. Enjoy it all, and, who knows? You may get to enjoy the "suite life" again! :D

We used to do the Pinnacle for breakfast, then after being on shore or a sea day, we used the Neptune for midday snacks or 'elevenes' which we took back to our cabin. Then we did dinner. Because of the Neptune 'snackies' for lunch we didn't gain any weight on a 14 day cruise.

We always bring nibbles back to our Suite from Neptune. DH always gets me piping hot coffee when I first wake up.... and a plate of sliced melons or berries. Then we wait for Room Service to bring breakfast. :o :D
I like a dish of crudite late afternoon when we are starting to get ready to go out for the evening.

Aw, shucks, M'am. Thanks, but the idea wasn't original with me. I remember reading sail mention it. Let's give her the credit on this one.

There is no silver tray under our champagne bucket-only a small dish.

:) The tray is under your ice bucket!!! If it is missing, ask your steward. It is round and silver color, same as ice bucket.

That tray has carried a number of espressos back to my cabin, as well as too many pastries!!
