Noordam ?

Are shorts allowed at the Lido restaurant in the evening or are long pants necessary? Also does anyone know how much beer costs on the Noordam?
On my first HAL cruise in May and can't find answers to these two questions. Thanks. klemi

Yes -- you can wear shorts in the Lido for evening dinner.

We just finished a 10 day on the Noordam. We paid 4.75 +15% for a single Bud Aluminum bottle, $19.00 for a bucket of Bud Aluminum +15% and for a regular bucket of Domestic Beer it was $17.00 +15% service charge. A bucket of beer is 5 cans or bottles.

Now I'm really confused (not that it takes much), I've read or maybe misread that shorts were not allowed in public areas in the evening hours. Now I read here that you can wear shorts in the Lido for dinner!?!?!?

Most of the regulars here on CC don't really consider the Lido "public". Unless you show up in a Speedo or a bathrobe:D
