No Cabin Assignment; what does this mean? [Archive]

I leave Thursday for a cruise on Noordam. I have read on these boards that several passengers on this cruise have their guarantee assignments now. I still do not have mine. Does anyone know what this might mean? I have never had to wait this long for a guarantee assignments in the past.

Sometimes the best upgrades come late. :)

Don't worry.

I have read here that some people don't get their cabin assignements until they get to the pier.

The longshoremen there have a manifest and will be able to give you your cabin assignment there. They also have luggage tags there as well - so don;t worry about that either.

I have a feeling that when you get to the dock, your going to get a great upgrade. Don't worry, everything will work out. Have a great cruise.

How would you feel about sharing a cabin in the crews quaters?:D

I'll bet you get a great upgrade when you get to the ship, if not sooner.

Have a wonderful cruise and I hope you find out your cabin assignment soon. :D I am trying to patiently wait for the news of our Noordam cabin assignment but it seems your report shows it could be quite some time till it's made. I too would be anxious to find out if I were you!!
