Query about room/deck on Volendam

Hi

I have just booked our first cruise on the Volendam, Auckland to Sydney at the end of the year. Our stateroom is an Oceanview on Main Deck, room G2715.

It is right at the very back of the ship and it looks like a few steps past our doorway is a deck. Obviously the deck is available to everyone but has anyone ever had one of those rooms? If so, did many people use that deck?

Also, it looks like it has a stairwell to the next deck (lower promenade I think), is that correct?
