Hope to meet up with some fellow CCérs on board!

Congratulations! I suspect that after trying cruising once that you will want to sail again and again.

Guess what? I think that you will meet some CC members. There's a roll call for that cruise (see Roll Calls - Holland America)

(I don't think that any inoculations will be needed.)

No shots are needed for a PC transit.

CLICK HERE (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1023955) for your Roll Call.

Enjoy your first of many cruises!

Welcome to Cruise Critic.

Congratulations on booking your first cruise.

We have done quite a few full transit Panama Canal cruises -- they are great.

You do not need any special shots.

But if you are going to do a lot of cruising in the future you might consider getting Hep A and B, typhoid, diptheria, pneumonia and tetnus shots.

I agree with KK...Panama Canal cruises are excellent. I've been there 5 times and I think there are more cruises to the Canal in my future. Have a great time!
