I have booked a short cruise on the Braemar which, amongst other things, will be calling at Bergen, Kristiansand and Oslo. Presumably at these locations the vessel will be able to dock and egress from, and access back to, the ship will not be reliant on tenders. I plan to do an independent day trip by rail from Bergen and wondered how far the station is, on foot, from where the ship docks.

I should think you will be docked ,Bergen railway station is a good stride from the dock ,allow a good half an hour quick stride,it is at the top of the town.If you mean South Kristiansand ,you should be docked there also.:)

Thank you for this. A good brisk walk will help to offset some of the extra weight undoubtedly gained by good living on board!
