Hi Folks - Off on our first cruise tomorrow - one last question - I've heard mixed things about whether we require a visa or not when we get to sharm. We are doing the red sea magic cruise and afterwards staying at the Sonesta Beach. Do we need visas or not? What do we do if airport staff try and stick us in the visa line? Will the stewards on the aircraft be able to advise do you think?
With thanks - Rachael

Hi Rachael,
If you are staying in the Sinai are the whole time when on the hotel part you don't need a visa.
The ship will organise group visas for excursions on the cruise part.
There is more detail here

Pleasure, have a great time.
You'll have some lovely hot sun. It's 82 F in Sharm at present
Never mind us freezing here or getting soaked to the skin :D

Hi Rachael,
There are ship's pics here for you from both our cruises in 2 albums

I have dome a review of the last cruise.
You'll have her after her refurbishment at the end of this year.
Some people who have been on the other Thomson ships have said they were disappointed with her.
we have been on her twice and had a great time both times.
I'm glad we did the itinerary as it was a relaxing cruise compared to big sightseeing intensive ones like the Med.
I'll find the review and post the link for you.
