Christmas Decorations

Just curious: We'll be sailing on Zuiderdam December 3. We'll they have the Christmas Decorations up then?

You do mean in 2005, right? :confused:

December 3rd is a little early for Christmas decorations. Probably they won't be put up until the next cruise, but you never know.

Yes, December 3, 2005. We were on Princess on December 3, 2004 (last month), and they were putting up the decorations the day we embarked. The decorators were finished by the time the shipped sailed that evening at 11:00 PM. Just wondering if HAL has the same time frame. The Golden was so beautifully decorated. It really made for a special sailing.

On the Westerdam this year, the decorations went up on the day we sailed, December 12. I wouldn't count on them being done much sooner than that, but you never know.

I think you may be out of luck on HAL. On our b2b last year there was nothing the week of Dec. 7th. Some decorations just started going up on the week of Dec. 14th. I think HAL waits so that all the decorations will look fresh on Christmas/New Years weeks.
