When we were on the O'dam last September, in the Med, there was an illusionist who performed twice during the cruise. We missed the first show but everyone's rave reviews had us in the lounge the second time. He was referred to by the passengers as "the illusionist" and I cannot remember his name. he was incredible, up to and including disappearing from the stage and arriving out in the audience on a motorcycle. Anyone have any idea who he was?

Never mind, I just found his name, it was Leo Ward. If you get a chance, DO NOT MISS him.

Leo Ward is a really great guy, on and off the stage.

We also saw Leo (and his twin) perform. Sorry but we laughed at their obvious performance and whenever we saw them around the ship would try to find ways to tell them apart. :D

Does anyone know if he's on any of the HAL ships this year, and if so, his schedule? His website does not list upcoming appearances.

Just saw Leo on the OSDM last week in his show. Pretty cool stuff, especially the motorcycle trick at the end!. Learned that he, unlike most guest entertainers who usually perform, then leave the ship, actually is a resident of the ship for several weeks. He's got a lot of equipment (mc, cages, the "spikes of death", etc.) to haul on and off. His four assistants (female cast dancers) weren't bad either!;)

On the O'Dam last year we saw him with his kids at the Lido pool. He was eating, standing up. I never saw him sit and relax. His son had a small part in his show later on.

Funny story though. At the end of his performance, he had DVDs for sale of his act. Unfortunately, just then, the CD announced that we were about to pass Stromboli, a live volcano, so everyone raced out and went on deck or to their balconies.

Isn't he great!
A little bird tells me he's on holiday for a few weeks but will be back on Oosterdam at the end of May for the Alaska summer season.

I would have voted for Stromboli, because I would have thought it was a gelato flavor.
