I think Rite-Aid would be the closest - proably a 10 minute or so walk

There's a Ralphs Market downtown at 101 G Street - Drive there, before you check-in, buy your soda's, then drive to the Pier. Easy money!

If you're walking it will be closer than Ralph's - if you're driving go to Ralph's or CVC in Horton Plaza. They have parking and it's a beautiful outdoor mall

If you go to Ralph's, ask when you go through the checkout to sign up for their Ralph's card. They will take a points card, scan it so you get your price discounts on that purchase, then give you the card and info to sign up at your convenience. You don't have to actually join but you will get the benefit of their reduced member prices on your purchase right away. It is a nice gesture on their part and their club prices are pretty darn good. I pick up my hairspray, deodorant, sunscreen etc. there before we leave so I don't have to worry about the airport security hassles for liquid and gels. It makes it quite convenient.
