I received an email over the weekend from my travel agent about a reunion cruise for past Orient guests on the 8/9 sailing of Voyages to Antiquity, the new line started by Gerry Herrod, the original founder of Orient. The email said the former Orient Captain Erik Bujrstedt (I sailed with him twice) would be there. And lots of goodies, including FREE Air, upgrade, discount, etc and NO supplement for singles. PLUS, shore excursions and gratuities are included.
The new line has a smaller ship (350) and like the name says, visits sites of the ancient Mediterranean. I am very happy that Mr. Herrod has started another line, as Orient was my favorite.
Has anyone received word of this yet? Voyages to Antiquity is closed on the weekend but I will be calling to learn more :)tomorrow at 877-398-1460.
