I thought all I had to do was put the picture in picture profile and it would automatically show up in all my posts. I have to copy and paste out of picture profile.
K2, it was down to 6 this AM, we got about an inch of snow yesterday and expecting more after midnight tonight. I have Microsoft Picture Express. After I bring up the picture, I right click, click on unlock, grab the corner and shrink it. Then I crop the unused part of the picture, then done. When I x out it will ask if I want to save changes and click yes. I almost forgot, before I do anything with the picture I make a copy so if I destroy the picture :eek: and can't undo it I still have the original. It is easy to use. What do you have?

Its all hear say now about the FOS...........I sort of doubt it will do a crossing with pax........NONE of the Voyager classes have.they are trickier and sometimes the glass in the promenade area shatters cause of the higher seas and winds.therefore no pax...:(

Northern Palm trees. :rolleyes: I think Marcia will back me up on this. A few years ago Jungle Jim brought some Palm trees and planted them close to his store. PH and K2, I had lots of fun on both trips...ready to go again. Matthew and I participated in a search and rescue in the Wilderness area on Sunday for a missing 14 year old on a dirt bike......he walked into camp about seven hours later cold as he only had on a tee shirt. Anthony and Trousers manned the radios back at our camp. I think we knew more about the area than the Rangers did.

We left on the trip to Portland at 4 PM on Friday...major fog all the way to Grants Pass where we slept for 6 hours...left at 6:30 and made it to Portland at 10:50 AM. Left Portland at noon and arrived in San Jose at 12:30 AM Saturday night. [1,400 miles total]

SAN: Can you explain Textured Walls??? Like does that mean you slap some wet plaster on the walls and make it rough and then paint so there is some depth to the paint and high and low rough spots. Something like Mexican walls that are painted???

Huh, thought everyone had textured walls. It's what K2 said, but not nearly as pronounced as the Mexican walls. it's applied over sheet rock. Maybe you guys have plaster walls...we don't because they would crack in the earthquakes...same reason we don't have brick houses...they'd fall apart.

Mike is not my type for that!

That's good that D can change it out, PH.....it may be way cheaper in the long run to get a new unit rather than pay for a service call. That would really bug me if I had to keep the cars outside.

People pay BIG BUCKS to have rough textured walls in places like bathrooms here in Michigan. It's very UPSCALE!! I'd like to do it in Art's bathroom since it's small. I'd have to take a class at Lowe's or this one paint store. Not sure how much all the supplies would cost!! Not too mention my LABOR costs!!

They used to make textured paint a long time ago, not too sure if they still do. It was very thick and had to be put on with a roller.

There is a little kit available in Lowes or Home Depot that is a spray can. You spray it on the wall then flatten it out a little with a trowel, then paint it.

I think the cans of the texture are about 12$....they don't go very far...but good for one wall or a small area. Cheaper than getting a hopper and a compressor.

I used to hate to paint and would rather wallpaper, Kc....now it's the other way around.

Have to start painting the bathroom today....everything is done but the smaller details, like a new light baseboard, installing the shower doors, towel racks and the vent...oh yea, and toilet paper holders:eek: .

Sure hope Bill and Mouse are smart enough NOT to drive in that freezing rain right now. What a mess. Saw it on TV and they're closing down the main I-75 and another freeway too. Rickz, it started out me doing a picture test, then some of my cruise critic family found the site and we started posting here along with others that have used this post to do different posts. Join in if you like, we may be nutty, silly or whatever, but harmless. I will still use the site to test pictures.
If you start from the beginning you well get a better idea of what it is. This is a fairly long post for this thread.

Okay "BOYS".........I got a real DEAL on flights to Australia so we're off to the down under for a few weeks. Once we land I figured we'd find some Ausie to help us with renting a SUV and be off for some exploring. You can't bring too much luggage with you NO ROOM in the SUV......so just washable stuff. Bring all your old undies and just plan on tossing them as you go. That saves space for things you pick up on the way!! Okay Mates......I'm off to run some errands, but I'll be back sure as the Kangaroo's jump the drylands. (whatever)!!
