Hi Everyone,
I am pleased to launch my new ms Ryndam photologue reflecting her as she is after her Signature of Excellence enhancements. I have also incorporated an innovating new design format that I have kicked off with the ms Ryndam photologue.
This photologue is listed as the newest feature on The Ship Café.
I hope that you find this useful!
Have a Great Day!

Steve-
Thanks for the wonderful new pictures of the Ryndam! Makes me very excited to see the changes on board the Zaandam! Thanks again for a glance, I really like the new flat screens and the linens are just lovely! The teens will love a cool place of their own too!

Loved seeing the Ryndam pics. It was my first cruise years ago, so it always holds that special memory.
The Neptune lounge pics to me look pretty much like I remember the Zuiderdam (the only one I've been in). Do all the Neptune Lounges have pretty much the same layout and look?

Hi Steve,
Great photos - and I like the new format too. To be honest, when I saw HAL's initial press photos of the refitted RYNDAM, I wasn't sure if I liked the changes all that much - but the Crow's Nest in particular looks much warmer and more HAL-ish in your photos than in theirs.
But are those folding chairs I spot in the Queens Room? And I think I preferred the original dining room color scheme - a very nice turquoise as I recall.
All in all she looks very nice, and it's great to see that HAL are putting a lot of money into their existing vessels, keeping them competitive and up-to-date, and retrofitting the features from some of their newer ships.

Thanks Steve, DH and I reviewed them together and it brought back nice memories of just 7 weeks ago:)
We really liked the Ryndam, I just wish we could have seen her before SOE to see what the the difference was. I am sure we will get a good idea when we sail on the Maasdam in July she will not have gone thru SOE yet.
Thanks again,

Hi Everyone,
I appreciate the great feedback. If you should have any particular questions, please feel free to post!
As you can see - and as strongly as I feel about it - the Ryndam maintains a wonderful, classic look as she always has but has improved that which "just needed it".

Excellent photos, Steve! Thank you for your fine effort of informing us about the changes on the Ryndam.
A question: Since the spa has been extended forward, is it still possible to get out on that deck and walk from the starboard to the port side in front of the spa's extension?

Thank you Steve! We are considering this (right now as our first choice) for 12/17/05 - the itinerary looks great and the kids are really excited about the new changes!

Steve:
You did your usual fine job as you showed us the newly enhanced Ryndam. I have had several voyages on her before the enhancement.
Your pictures are always good and these were no exception. I would be interested in your opinions on the enhancement. Do you like it? Do you think the pax will like it?
Best Wishes

Good Day!
One can indeed still walk out and around the extension. It was once a very wide area and now is, obviously, a bit more narrow. Aside from that, one can still walk out in front and around.
Hope that that helps.

Thanks for the information, Steve. I am glad to hear that there is still room for people to get out on that deck. That is an excellent outside observation area. I was concerned that the enlargement of the spa would take that area away.

Himself et. al,
I actually did go aboard wondering if I would like the new layout as I am a big fan of the S-Class ships and their original look. I do feel, however, that the enhancements are a huge improvement not so much in "bettering" that which was there already but as far as improving the overall guest atmosphere. The Explorations Café is truly a social hub and is where most everyone would pass through to find other family members, play a game, check e-mail, get a coffee, etc. etc. I was also a bit skeptical of the concept of coffee cost, etc. before going but found myself enjoying a Caffe Americano each afternoon and the cost wasn't an issue.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

Robin~
The "S Class" ships as well as those ships that are receiving the Neptune Lounge as an "afterthought" will have much of the same look you're seeing in my photos.
The Vista Class lounges look slightly different, though. All have the same functionality, however, and you'll find the same types of services.
